A thousand mile sponsored cycle ride for Marie Curie Hospice, starting at John o' Groats in Scotland and heading via the Outer and Inner Hebrides, Ireland, Wales and south-west England, finishing at Lands End, with our legs, muscles and bikes still intact - hopefully!

We began the 1050 mile marathon at John o' Groats on Thursday 26 August 2010, aiming to complete the journey in less than four weeks. Indeed, we finished at Lands End on Friday 17th September - despite some extremely wet weather, mechanical problems and physical issues along the way.

Day 4
Day four and the boys are heading for Ullapool from Scourie.
Robbo descending towards Inchnadamph and Loch Assynt in Sutherland, north-west Scotland.
Scourie to Ullapool road ....... aided by a ferocious gale force tail-wind..... No jokes please!
